Bogie takes Championship lead.
The Scottish Rally based in Dumfries was won by David Bogie which catapults him into the lead of the Championship. With three victories this season David looks to be favourite to retain his SRC crown this year.
Dust proved a problem for a lot of the competitors with Andy Horne having to stop in stage as a result. Jock Armstrong notched up his second DNF of the season which means his Championship hopes are looking slim.
Andy Horne has dropped to second in the Championship after the Scottish but it is still a fantastic performance in the 6R4. Who would have thought that consistency would be the main strength to his title bid after last season? Andy is one of only two drivers in the whole Championship to score overall points on every round so far this season.
Next up for the SRC is the Speyside Stages rally. Will David Bogie make it a hat trick of Speyside wins, the first to do so, or will Andy Horne get his second win 12 years after his first?

ONLINE ORDERING: Order your route notes for the next event through this website. Simply log in with your username and password using the panel on the left. Once in the User menu click on SHOP and progress through to order; route notes, map books and DVD's. Once in the checkout area you can select your delivery options and pay.
Alternatively you can order by downloading an order form from the website, filling it in and posting to us with payment enclosed.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Order forms must be in our possession 14 days before the event to ensure your order is processed and the goods dispatched 10 days prior to the event. Orders received after this time will be dispatched within 5 working days from receipt of order. No orders will be dispatched within 3 days of an event. Scotmaps office hours are: 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday. If you require to make a route note order outwith these hours then please, register, download the relevant forms and e-mail them to

If you are Scottish Rally Championship registered competitor we need to have your order on the Friday two weeks before the event at the latest to be eligible for the discount! Any orders received within the 14 days leading up to the event will NOT be eligible for the discount. |
